Daily Motivation

Our outer environment is a direct reflection of our inner environment. We absorb the material for thought from our surrounding environment. Our environment consists of the books we read, the people with whom we associate, the country and community in which we live and the intellectual training we receive.

Our daily associates constitute one of the most important and influential parts of our environment, and they may work for our progress or against it. As much as possible, we should select as our closest daily associates those who are in sympathy with our definite chief aim or our definite purpose/goal in life. We should make it a point to associate with people whose mental attitudes inspire us with enthusiasm, self-confidence, determination, and ambition.

Remember that every word spoken within our hearing, every sight that reaches our eyes, and every sense impression that we receive through any of the five senses, influence our thoughts. This being true, then we can see the importance of controlling, as far as possible, the environment in which we live and work. So it’s vitally important that we read books, listen to CD’s, etc. which deal with subjects that are directly related to our purpose/goal in life. It is also important to talk with people who are in sympathy with our aims and who will encourage us and spur us on toward their attainment.

Furthermore, like attracts like!!!! If we are in business and have formed the habit of talking and thinking about business or this economy being bad, then business will be bad.

Each day you can receive free daily quotes which connect you to associates/people that inspire yourself at the beginning of the day. I would recommend that you subscribe to a daily motivational thought which takes less than 30 seconds to read and digest. Below are the ones I would recommend:
